East Lake Sammamish Parkway

Overview

We're making it easier to get around North Issaquah.

East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast was widened and a new southbound travel lane was added between Southeast 56th Street and Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road.

In addition, a new bike lane was added to the west side of the parkway between 56th Street and Issaquah-Fall City RoadThe project includes sidewalk and utility upgrades, as well as new trail connections.

Timeline
Work started on the project started in late 2015, and the expansion opened in October 2016.

Funding
Support for the project comes from a variety of City, regional, state and federal sources.

The $7.6 million project includes $3.5 million from the Puget Sound Regional Council, $3.4 million from the Transportation Improvement Board and $727,000 in City funds.
