South Cove/Greenwood Point Service
Service changes are coming to South Cove and Greenwood Point!

Waste Collection
Starting Feb. 29, 2016, Recology CleanScapes will begin collecting garbage, recycling, compost and yard debris for South Cove and Greenwood Point customers. Most residents can expect lower rates!

Throughout February, residents will receive new carts. Once you receive your Recology CleanScapes carts, please leave your Republic carts at the curb on your current service day so Republic can remove the carts. Once your Republic carts have been removed, please begin using your new Recology CleanScapes carts.

Beginning Feb. 29, 2016, all Tuesday customers will have their service day changed to Wednesday. All Wednesday customers will have their service day changed to Thursday.

As a part of this transition, you will also:

  • See natural-gas-powered, quiet trucks servicing your neighborhood.
  • Be able to pick up a free kitchen compost kit and drop off hard-to-recycle items free of charge at The Recology Store in Gilman Village.
  • Have the ability to recycle a larger variety of items.

Watch for more information in your mailbox. If you have questions about your new service, please contact Recology CleanScapes at 425-837-1234 or online.

For questions about the City’s contract with Recology CleanScapes, please call Issaquah’s Office of Sustainability at 425-837-3000.

Water/Sewer Service
The City of Bellevue currently provides water/sewer service to South Cove and Greenwood Point. Starting Jan. 1, 2017, the City of Issaquah will provide this service. The water source will be the same, but Issaquah will be managing the accounts and maintaining the pipes.

Average water/sewer users will have rates comparable to Bellevue. We’re also planning some water main replacements and sewer main rehabilitation projects in your neighborhood starting in 2017. For more information, call 425-837-3000.
