Code Update
As we work with our community to preserve and enhance Issaquah's traditional downtown core and the area's historic character of the area, our goal is to emphasize complementary architectural, landscape and site design standards for new and redeveloped properties.

In the code update, we will consider amendments to the Olde Town Design standards to implement the updated plan.

In 2015 the Olde Town Vitality Task Force recommended code updates to address challenges, such as parking.

Once the Olde Town Subarea Plan is updated, we will work with community stakeholders throughout 2017 to update the code. Following the plan update, task force recommendations may be included in the annual docket of code amendments.
