In 2006, the Issaquah welcomed South Cove, Greenwood Point and surrounding neighborhoods into the City. Now, there's one final step to that annexation process: Issaquah will soon provide water and sewer service to that area, instead of the City of Bellevue.

While the water source will remain the same, starting Jan. 1, 2017, Issaquah will be managing the accounts and maintaining the system. 

Your Bill
Good news! Issaquah and Bellevue rates are very similar for average water/sewer users.

And because Issaquah already provides stormwater services to the area, customers' bills will now be combined. 

We are working closely with the City of Bellevue to ensure a seamless transition of accounts. Customers in this area will receive their last Bellevue invoice in mid-January, and their first Issaquah invoice in early March. 

There will be some differences between Issaquah and Bellevue’s invoices. Issaquah lists wastewater as "sewer," and also provides more detail on what fees are sent to King County.

How to Pay
Payment options include:
  • Sign up for Issy Easy Pay, so that payments are automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account. 
  • Sign up for your bank’s online bill payer service.
  • Mail checks or money orders in a return envelope.
  • Pay with cash, checks or money orders in person at 130 E. Sunset Way.

Stay tuned – Issaquah is working to accept online payments in 2018.
