Special Local Taxes
There are other taxes and regulatory licenses administered by the Finance Department that affect businesses in Issaquah. The following is a brief synopsis of the additional taxes and/or regulatory licenses that may apply to your business:

Admission Tax
Levied on persons who pay an admission charge for entrance to an event or establishment. The admission tax is collected for the City by the business charging the admission, similar to the sales tax. The admission tax is computed on the ticket price. The rate is 5 percent.

Requires Admission Tax Business Registration Application and Admission Tax Return Form.

Gambling Tax
All persons licensed by the Washington State Gambling Commission to conduct gambling activities in the city are required to pay the gambling tax. Gambling activities include bingo games, raffles, amusement games and punch boards and pull tabs. The tax rate ranges from 2 percent to 5 percent.

Requires Gambling Tax Return Form.
