Water Charges

Multifamily customers have are charged a per unit rate with additional charges based on water use over the minimum amount. Sewer charges for businesses are based on a charge from King County Metro and a volume charge determined by water use.

Stormwater Charge
Stormwater (maintenance and upgrades of municipal stormwater system, flood prevention, care of streams and lakes) service charges for residential and undeveloped parcels are flat rate charges, while all non-residential developed properties are charged based on the area of the property and the percentage of impervious surface (roofs, driveways, parking surfaces, etc.) based on the number of Equivalent Service Units (ESUs) on the property (1 ESU = 2,000 square feet of impervious surface).

Senior Citizen Low-Income Discount
The City of Issaquah offers a discount rate for qualifying low-income senior citizens. You must be a single family resident of the City of Issaquah and own and reside in your own home. Duplexes are billed at a different rate than a single family residence and therefore do not meet the qualifications for this program.

In order for your application to evaluated and approved, you must complete the approval process at the Issaquah Senior Center. Specific qualifying criteria and application are available for download.

Please call the Issaquah Senior Center at (425) 392-2381 if you have any questions about the discount program.
