Issaquah is located in the Seattle metropolitan-area, with I-90 providing easy access to Seattle (17 miles, 27 km), Bellevue (8 miles, 13 km), Redmond (8 miles, 13 km) and Sea-Tac Airport (23 miles, 37 km). The community is surrounded by the Issaquah Alps (Cougar Mountain, Squak Mountain and Tiger Mountain) and borders Lake Sammamish which provides abundant outdoor recreation opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
Issaquah enjoys moderate Northwest climate, with daytime summer temperatures in the 70’s and winter temperatures in the 40’s, with an average of 8 snow days.
