Bellevue College’s Center for Career Connections is a resource for the entire community to help find fulfilling work that provides a living wage. The Center directly addresses the needs of the entire community, including: immigrants and refugees, dislocated workers and homemakers, individuals with disabilities, public assistance recipients and other low-income populations, transitioning veterans, underemployed individuals, youth of color, and other groups.
Eastside Employment Services through the YWCA offers low-income men and women employment and job training program for on the Eastside. Through case management, participants get the tools and resources to support them to secure a living wage job, build financial stability, and find economic empowerment.
Hopelink’s Employment Program provides job and career coaching, employment consultation, and job readiness workshops and events for Issaquah job seekers.
IKRON’s Integrated Employment Services combines employment readiness activities (career assessments, interview preparation, resume and cover letter writing), job placement and job sustainment services, with other supports and behavioral health services. Integrating all services under one roof with a wraparound concept to care, facilitates increased quality of care and improved outcomes.
WorkSource Seattle – King County provides customized employment assistance to those who have been laid off. From resume writing to preparing for interviews, you will be connected to an employment specialist to help you navigate a new career or training.
