Make a Difference

Issaquah needs you! If you’re looking for a fun and interesting way to make a difference in your community, we encourage you to apply to serve on a City board or commission.

Annual recruitment for boards and commissions occurs in February.

Occasionally, we also have openings for boards, commissions or ad hoc committees throughout the year. Those openings are also advertised on our website and other media.

Appointments & Reappointments

Appointments are made by the mayor and confirmed by City Council.

When a term expires and the member would like to continue serving, he or she must submit an application to request reappointment.
