City Council 2022

Engage with Us!

Your Issaquah City Council wants to hear from you.

Our seven-member City Council serves as the City’s legislative body, while the Mayor is Issaquah’s chief administrative officer.  In addition to serving as your representatives, the City Council provides policy direction, enacts legislation and approves a biennial budget.

The City Council provides policy direction through the Committee of the Whole Council and three standing committees. Regular City Council meetings are held twice monthly to take action on City business. For additional information, see the City Council Rules of Procedure.
