River & Streams Board


Created in 1983, this board advises the Mayor and City Council on how to protect, preserve and enhance the water quality in Issaquah's waterways, as well as protect the fish, birds and mammals that depend upon these aquatic environments.


The River & Streams Board is comprised of seven regular members, with four-year terms; and several alternates, with two-year terms. All members are appointed by the Mayor and subject to confirmation by the City Council. Terms expire April 30 of the year listed. For more information, see IMC 18.03.
