Hosted by the Eastside Audubon Society. Stan Wood will lead a walk on Monday, December 12 at Lake Sammamish State Park.

Meet time is 8:00 a.m. in the Tibbetts Beach parking lot. The Tibbetts Beach parking lot is the first parking lot on the left as you enter the park from NW Sammamish Road. The group will meet in the parking row by the lot entrance. Depending upon the amount of participation it may be necessary to break up into more than one group. If this occurs it may be necessary to delegate someone who is familiar with the park as an additional walk leader.

A Discovery Pass is required for parking in the State Park.

Due to Covid the walk is limited to those vaccinated against COVID-19. Registration is not required.

 Your safety is of paramount importance to Eastside Audubon. The following COVID-19 safety protocols apply for this bird walk:

• This event is entirely outdoors but is restricted to fully vaccinated persons only. Wearing of a mask is optional.
• Participants are required to self-assess prior to the walk and must not attend if they have any COVID related symptoms (e.g. elevated temperature) or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past two weeks.
• The trip leader is fully vaccinated.

Conditions such as weather, road or park closures can potentially impact this event. This is especially true during Winter months. Eastside Audubon will do our best to update this web page if any cancellation or rescheduling is required. So be sure to check this web page prior to heading out for the event.
