Salmon, Science & Suds

Wednesday, March 20

"Salmon, Science & Suds" is a series of informal talks welcoming the community to better understand habitat restoration and rehabilitation efforts underway in the Sammamish watershed. This second talk will be held at the Rogue Ales Issaquah Brewhouse at 6:30 p.m., March 20, and will feature King County Biologist Jim Bowers. Bowers will speak on the current state of Lake Sammamish kokanee, ongoing preservation projects and programs, and volunteer opportunities. Speakers address water quality, healthy fish populations, and habitat restoration. The series is offered to share interesting research and initiatives currently improving the health of the Sammamish watershed. The evening will also include a raffle, great beer and good company. Salmon Science & Suds is presented by Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park, Trout Unlimited, US Fish & Wildlife Service, Mid Sound Fisheries, Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership, and Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery.
