Polar Plunge at Sunset Beach

Kick off the New Year with a SPLASH at the first ever Polar Bear Plunge at Lake Sammamish State Park!
The festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with registration, music and merriment on the shore. The plunge is at 11 a.m.
Warm up afterwards with hot drinks, concessions and Ivar’s clam chowder. All registered participants will get a free polar plunge knitted hat and a hot beverage.
Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park is a 501 c(3) dedicated to supporting, promoting and enhancing the park for the benefit of the entire community.
Costumes are encouraged.
Please note that a $10 Discover Pass is normally required to enter the park but January 1, 2020 is a free day so no pass is required
