Since retiring, Diane Gillespie, advocates for adequate natural sleep, a project that emerged out of her own sleep challenges. In this session, she will explain the dangers of sleep deprivation and many sleep medications and discuss the many cognitive behavior strategies available for increasing natural sleep--from gravity blankets to white noise to nighttime stories.
Join in a discussion about enhancing sleep. Diane retired as Emerita Professor, Community Psychology, the University of Washington Bothell. She has used her background as an educational psychologist to advocate for natural sleep.
