Open House: Master Plans for Anchor Parks
Wednesday, September 11, 2019
Issaquah is embarking on an effort to reinvest, reimagine, enhance and diversify three City anchor parks: Tibbetts Valley Park; Veterans Memorial Park; and the Creek Corridor (as a primary north-south system connecting many of Issaquah’s existing parks and trails).
The design process for these parks is just beginning, and it includes you! Your perspective, experiences and observations will inform how these parks can serve our community for decades to come.
This is an opportunity for us share the findings of our site analysis, and the community's input received to date. You can also provide your input about future uses at these parks. A City of Issaquah open house is focused on consulting with community members. City staff will be available at informational stations, and participants can share their feedback (either written or verbal). City staff will also take detailed notes on what they hear to assist with follow-up and next steps.
We also invite you to participate in a self-guided tour of the Creek Corridor. Learn more online.
