Learn how to transform food and yard waste into compost, get tips to safely eliminate garden pests and more by enrolling in the Master Recycler Composter-Eastside program.
It’s a volunteer training and outreach program to educate residents about recycling, backyard composting, organic gardening concepts and resource conservation.
The next class will start soon, on four Wednesday evenings and four Saturdays starting Aug. 27, 2014.
Participants gain knowledge, skills and tools to teach their friends, neighbors and community members. The experience includes classroom learning and hands-on experience.
