Thanks to our ongoing paving project, street improvements are in progress throughout Issaquah.
Crews – who will work with residents and businesses to minimize impacts with driveways – started the work in early October.
• Front Street North from Northeast Crescent Drive to Gilman Boulevard: ongoing removal of existing curb ramps and replacement, as well as curb and sidewalk repair. Drivers should prepare for traffic impacts at the intersection of Front Street North and Gilman Boulevard as crews add the new curb ramps Oct. 8, 2014.
• Seventh Avenue Northwest and Northwest Juniper Street: curb ramp work as well paving, with work scheduled to start Oct. 17. Crews will work from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Northwest Juniper Street from Fifth Avenue Northwest to Newport Way Northwest: paving is scheduled to start Oct. 20. Crews will work from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Front Street North: milling is scheduled for Oct. 20-21, with paving to follow Oct. 21-24. Crews will work from 9 p.m.-4 a.m.
