Thanks to everyone who participated in the Mayor’s Month of Concern for the Hungry!
Month of Concern is a yearly campaign to restock the shelves of Eastside food banks in preparation for the cold weather.
Throughout our community, citizens donated a total of 23,799 pounds of food, plus $1,100 for the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank.
In addition, City of Issaquah employees donated 290 pounds of food.
Mayor Fred Butler thanked the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank volunteers who collected the donations from City Hall on Oct. 16, 2014.
