[ARCHIVED] - Celebrate the Season: Santa Claus Comes to Town -

Santa Claus

Santa Claus is coming to town — to Grand Ridge Plaza.

Santa will make a grand arrival in Issaquah at 4:30 p.m. on Black Friday — Nov. 28, 2014 — on the plaza next to Regal Cinemas and Big Fish Grill. The free community event features:

• Music performed by the children of the Grand Ridge Elementary School chorus.

• A tree-lighting ceremony for the Grand Ridge Plaza holiday tree by Santa himself.

• Complimentary treats, including hot cider and cocoa from Caffe Ladro and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies from Subway.

Santa will welcome visitors seven days a week — 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Grand Ridge Plaza, 1451 Highlands Drive N.E., will host Santa through Dec. 24.

Visit Santa at a heated, custom-built house for free throughout the holiday season. Professional photography by Santa’s elves will be available for purchase.
