Go behind the scenes at a fire station, explore the inside of a fire truck cab, and learn how to protect your home and family as Eastside Fire & Rescue (EFR) hosts a free community open house May 2, 2015.
You’re invited to Fire Station 72, 1575 N.W. Maple St., from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to learn how first responders keep our community safe.
Join us for giveaways and tips. Members of EFR, the Issaquah Police Department and other agencies will answer your questions.
May 2 is also Wildfire Community Preparedness Day. With fire experts predicting a difficult summer wildfire season, now is good a time to learn how to protect your home and family against wildfires.
The open house also offers a chance to learn more about the innovative design of Station 72, which is one of the greenest fire stations in the United States.
