Costco Wholesale’s international headquarters will soon grow in Central Issaquah thanks to a newly-adopted agreement between the Fortune 500 company and the City.
By signing the development agreement, Costco has committed to grow its campus in the years ahead, and partner with the City to construct a number of street improvements.
Costco, which has called Issaquah home since 1994, currently occupies about 700,000 square feet of office space. Under the agreement, the nation's second-largest retailer is allowed to add up to 1.5 million square feet to its campus.
Earlier in the process, the Issaquah City Council unanimously adopted the agreement after extensive review and public input.
