[ARCHIVED] - Project Update: New Issaquah Skate Park -

We’re working to bring a fun, safe skate park to Tibbetts Valley Park.

In a unanimous decision April 20, 2015, our City Council authorized staff to pursue grant funding for the skate park project. Construction on our new skate park is expected to start in 2016.

Moving forward, we will pursue a King County Youth Sports Facilities Grant to help us build a larger, more exciting skate park. In addition, we’re working to bring more community partners to the project.

The council decision marks the latest step in our process to build a new park for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Reflecting a long-held community desire to offer skaters a better place to ride, we've worked with our community to choose a site and design for the new skate.
