[ARCHIVED] National Police Week: Get a Free Blue Ribbon

Join our police officers in showing your support for National Police Week by displaying a free blue ribbon on your vehicle's antenna.

The ribbons honor the law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, as well as all of the men and women who serve and protect our communities every day.

Issaquah police will give away free blue ribbons at the police department front counter, 130 E. Sunset Way, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday from May 11-15, 2015, or while supplies last.

National Police Week is May 11-17.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day, and the calendar week in which May 15 falls as National Police Week.
