All aboard as the Issaquah Valley Trolley returns for the season.
The vintage trolley resumes service in historic downtown Issaquah on May 9, 2015.
Once the trolley enters regular operation, the car departs from the Issaquah Depot Museum from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Passengers board at the depot, 78 First Ave. N.E.
The fare is $5 per person, and includes the trolley ride as well as admission to the depot museum and the Gilman Town Hall Museum. Children 5 and younger, and members of the Issaquah History Museums, ride free.
A project of the Issaquah History Museums, Issaquah Valley Trolley’s mission is to help interpret the history of our community and to attract visitors to the depot and Gilman Town Hall museums, and to Olde Town.
Issaquah Valley Trolley is also seeking additional volunteers for the season. Organizers need additional motormen, conductors and station agents. Help is also needed for maintaining equipment.
