Issaquah is making music June 21, 2015, in celebration of International Music Day.
The annual celebration offers a chance for people around the world celebrate the importance of music in our lives through free, open and accessible events. Join us to listen, dance, and join in making music.
From 1-5 p.m., see live music at the following locations:
• Pedestrian Park: The Redondoes, Strum Ukulele Band, Greasy Spoon
• NW Alder Street: Eastside Music Company
• Music and Arts lot: teen performers from Kaleidoscope School of Music, plus special guests
• Confluence Park: LocoMotive, FIVESTAR, Nolan Garrett, The RumSkullz and more
End your afternoon at Confluence Park with a barbecue and live music. All musicians can join in the fun and busk at Confluence Park from 1-5 p.m.
International Music Day is celebrated in more 700 cities and 100 countries, as musicians take to the streets, sidewalks and parks to play.
Issaquah is also celebrating the Fenders on Front Street Car Show & Cruise on June 21.
