[ARCHIVED] Volunteer: Issaquah's Independence Day Celebration

Volunteer to help make Issaquah's Down Home 4th of July & Heritage Day Heritage Day a success!

The festivities start at 11 a.m. in historic Olde Town and continue until 2 p.m. July 4, 2015.

Help the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce present Issaquah's Down Home 4th of July celebration. To register as a volunteer, go to downhome4th.org.

After the parade, Issaquah’s 14th annual Heritage Day celebration returns to the Issaquah Depot Museum.

Issaquah History Museums needs volunteers to run hands-on stations during the event. To learn more or sign up to volunteer, email the museums.

Immediately following the parade, head to the depot for a chance to step back in time and get your hands on history.

Make your own cedar shingle, eat some freshly churned butter or help work the pump car down the railroad tracks!

Stations on the lawn and in the museum let visitors get their hands dirty with the residue of history!
