[ARCHIVED] Recipe for Hope: Food Bank Hosts Fundraiser

Our community is invited to support the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank at the Recipe for Hope Breakfast.

The nonprofit organization is hosting the annual event Sept. 23, 2015.

Funds raised at the breakfast will support current efforts to provide healthy food options to clients, and build services and programs to enrich lives.

The breakfast is at Eastridge Church, 24205 S.E. Fall City Road. Doors open at 7 a.m., and the program is from 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Registration is now open. A minimum $100 donation to the food bank is requested.

The food bank’s service area borders the boundaries of the Issaquah School District. The food bank serves residents in Issaquah, Bellevue, Newcastle, Renton, Sammamish and unincorporated King County. The clothing bank, which is one of only a few in our region, serves a much larger population.
