[ARCHIVED] Second Saturday Film Series: See Free Flicks

See classic films at City Hall as our Second Saturday Film Series returns.

The free films, presented with support from the City of Issaquah Arts Commission and 4Culture, return Sept. 12, 2015, to the Eagle Room at City Hall, 130 E. Sunset Way. The screenings start at 7 p.m.

Sept. 12

"Peggy Sue Got Married" (1986) — During her 25th high school class reunion, middle-aged Peggy Sue (Kathleen Turner) tries to forget her marital problems with husband Charlie (Nicolas Cage) by renewing old friendships. Wondering if she made the right decisions in her life, Peggy Sue gets a chance to try again when — zapped into a time warp — she finds herself a teenager back in 1960.

Oct. 10

"House of Usher" (1960) — Roderick Usher (Vincent Price) mourns the death of his sister and prepares for her funeral. He is visited by ghosts and tormented with the idea his sister has been buried alive. The cult classic is based on Edgar Allen Poe's "The Fall Of The House Of Usher."
