The zombie apocalypse is coming to Issaquah — again.
A horde of undead will shamble and shuffle through our community for the sixth annual Downtown Zombie Walk and "Thriller" dance Oct. 24, 2015.
The living and undead of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the free community event.
The fun starts at the historic Hailstone Feed Store, 232 Front St. N.
2:30-4:30 p.m. – Zombie Preparations
Practice your "Thriller" steps with Destiny Jackson of Blue Dog Dance Studio. Organizers encourage participants to arrive in zombie makeup, but for those corpses who need assistance, basic make up will be available for free. Professional makeup from Illusions by Melanie will be available for $10 per person.
4:30-5 p.m. – Zombie Walk
The horde will quiver and shiver down Front Street North toward Issaquah City Hall and Police Department, 130 E. Sunset Way, and then perform the "Thriller" dance. Drivers: Be aware of possible congestion on Front Street North during the walk.
5-5:30 p.m. – "Thriller" Dance
The choreographed "Thriller" dance of the undead will take over the City Hall steps. After the dance, zombies will disperse to the Issaquah Brewhouse, 35 W. Sunset Way, for a celebration featuring Rogue Dead Guy drink specials and live music by Fred Hopkins and The Ghouls.
