We need your help to count the number of people who bike and walk in our community.
For the annual survey, we’re joining the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and Cascade Bicycle Club to enlist volunteers and organizations to count the number of people bicycling and walking on paths, bike lanes and sidewalks from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2015.
Counts will be taken in Issaquah and more than 50 other cities throughout the state. The data collected helps WSDOT improve bicycling and walking policies, projects and funding.
To learn more or sign up, go to wsdot.wa.gov, email Cascade Bicycle Club or call 503-805-1064.
In 2014, more than 72,000 bicyclists and pedestrians were counted by volunteers across Washington during a three-day survey.
