[ARCHIVED] Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

convenience store robbery suspect

In the late evening on March 10, 2013, Issaquah Police responded to a convenience store in the 1400 block of Northwest Sammamish Road for a reported armed robbery with a knife in progress.

It was reported that the female suspect had fled the scene. It is unknown if there were any associated vehicles. A check of the area by officers and a police canine were unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a white female, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a medium build and possible black hair.

It was learned that the female entered the business displaying what appeared to be a handgun to the clerk, and demanded money. A struggle ensued in which the female was disarmed and then pulled a knife on the clerk.

The female was again disarmed and fled the scene on foot. The clerk did not sustain any injuries.

The female suspect is still at large. Any information regarding this crime can be directed to the Issaquah Police Department.

Questions can be directed to Cmdr. Stan Conrad or Detective Sgt. Kevin Nash of the Issaquah Police Department at 425-837-3200.
