Issaquah's artEAST invites artists to participate in The Incredible Intensity of Just Being Human exhibition.
The nonprofit arts organization has invited Kate Vrijmoet to bring The Incredible Intensity of Just Being Human to the Eastside. In the exhibition, Puget Sound-area artists examine the stigma and silence surrounding mental illness.
The art and social change exhibit creates a platform for community engagement, conversation and unification.

The submission deadline is Jan. 24, 2016. The show is scheduled for the artEAST Art Center and Blakely Hall, with the possibility of other satellite exhibition spaces, from April 18-July 11.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Issaquah Arts Commission.
