Thanks to everyone who helped make 2015 such a successful year at our Pickering Demonstration Garden!
Together with Falaah Jones, our garden coordinator, and the help of our volunteers, we contributed 1,379 pounds of fresh food to the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank.
The garden is not only a place for growing food – it is also a place for education and community. This year, Jones inspired and taught more than 100 volunteers, as well as hosted several visitors during our Issaquah Farmers Market.
We also hosted work parties for several groups in our community, including Microsoft, Kibble and Prentice, Oracle, Echo Glen Children's Center, Issaquah Garden Club and many more.
