Join Mayor Fred Butler, and representatives from the Downtown Issaquah Association and the City of Issaquah, for a ribbon-cutting event at Pedestrian Park, 5:30-6 p.m. Dec. 17, 2015.
Pedestrian Park is located on the northeast corner of Front Street and Sunset Way across from the Issaquah Library.
Recent improvements include new landscaping, irrigation, LED lighting and outdoor furniture.
Tokul Road will perform a selection of Celtic carols with vocals, guitar, mandolin and bodhran.
After the event, walk to the historic Issaquah Depot Museum, 78 First Ave. N.E., to enjoy caroling, hot beverages and cookies.
