Share the beauty and wonder of Lake Sammamish State Park as a certified docent for the park's interpretive programs.
Starting in February 2016, the park will offer training sessions for volunteers interested in co-leading and assisting with interpretive programs alongside park rangers.
Learn the how and why of leading interpretive programs, and become acquainted with programs on geology, ecology, birds, natural history and more. Training will be run by local rangers.
Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a Lake Sammamish State Park master docent certificate. Participants in the training will begin leading programs immediately in the spring.
Sign up online for the training.
