The suspect in a March 10 armed robbery of an Issaquah convenience store has been arrested in Alaska and is awaiting extradition to Washington.
The suspect, a 19-year-old Issaquah woman, was positively identified by Issaquah police officers, and tips from Issaquah citizens. An arrest warrant was issued by King County Superior Court on March 15.
The suspect fled from Washington to Alaska. Efforts to locate and capture her were turned over to the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force.
In the evening hours of March 21, task force members located and arrested the suspect on the felony warrant out of Kenai, Alaska.
She will be booked as a fugitive of justice and extradited back to Washington under normal protocol.
