[ARCHIVED] Hit the Beach: Northwest Paddling Festival Returns

Hit the beach at the 2016 Northwest Paddling Festival — the largest event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest — May 6-7, 2016.

The free event at Lake Sammamish State Park brings paddle sports retailers, manufacturers and athletes together in one location.

The festival features more than 60 paddle sports businesses offering canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, paddling equipment, accessories and gear.

Attendees can shop, browse the best in paddle sports brands side-by-side, enjoy a guided kayak tour around the lake, test their skills in stand-up paddleboard clinics and more.

The festival will run from 2-7 p.m. May 6 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 7. Admission is free. Parking is $10 or free with a Discover Pass.
