You’re invited as the seventh-annual Evergreen Mountain Bike Festival returns to Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park!
The family- and first-time-rider friendly festival is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. June 11, 2016, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 12. The event celebrates mountain biking with bike demos, activities for kids, skills clinics and more!
With more than 50 vendors and more than 18 bike fleets, the festival promises to feature more top-brand mountain bikes available to test ride than ever before.
Other activities include timed pump track runs, trail riding for all abilities, jump show demonstrations, mini skills clinics, activities for kids, food and beverage concessions, raffles — including a full suspension Turner RFX bike from Dirt Merchant Bikes — and more.
The festival is free and open to the public. For $10 (Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance members) or $20 (non-members) you can demo bikes all day, join skills clinics, enjoy guided rides and take part in the pump track challenge.
In 2015, more than 3,000 people attended the festival to test new bikes and gear, or simply to try mountain biking for the first time. The festival is also a fundraiser for the nonprofit Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance to support its work protecting, building and maintaining trails statewide.
King County's 130-acre Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park is located at 27101 S.E. Duthie Hill Road. To learn more, go to evergreenmtbfestival.com.
