Shoppers ready for a fresh experience can head to the Issaquah Farmers Market as the summertime tradition opens for the season.
The market returns for a 23rd season on Saturday, April 20, 2013. The market runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the historic Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. N.W.
Find farm-fresh fruits and vegetables — including many organic items — fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, specialty cooking mixes, handmade arts and crafts, and more.
Throughout the season, the market features food vendors, concerts and entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and activities for families and children. View our seasonal produce calendar to plan your market experience.
On opening day, the market also features a tree-planting event for Arbor Day and Earth Day.
The market’s opening day includes an Earth Day celebration. Some participating organizations include Cascade Bicycle Club, Seattle Tilth, Issaquah Garden Club and the Master Gardeners.
The market is open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays through early October.
