Water Smart Workshop

Learn to grow your garden, conserve water and protect our watershed!

Join the City of Issaquah and Seattle Tilth for a free, hands-on workshop all about getting water smart in your yard and garden — from soaker hoses and drip irrigation to rain gardens and cisterns (and everything in between). You'll leave the workshop with the knowledge and resources to save money and conserve water at your home!

The free event is 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 10, 2016, at the picnic shelter and community garden at Confluence Park, 595 Rainier Blvd. N. Meet at the picnic shelter.

Register online. For more information, please email Chris Hoffer.

At the workshop, we'll look at a variety of practical solutions for your yard and garden, with plenty of time for hands-on demonstration and exploration of tools and practices for water conservation. Participants will receive free resources and great door prizes — such as free compost, watering wands and Treegators — to get started right away!
