You're invited to the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery for the fifth annual Elected Officials Day.
The free event, hosted by Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, returns from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 16, 2016, to the Watershed Science Center, 125 W. Sunset Way.
Centered around the theme "Hatcheries: Spawning Science and Connecting Communities," Elected Officials Day includes speakers from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife and more.
Learn about latest science for hatchery management and how it helps support naturally born fish and fish for harvest, as well as wild stocks. Listen as experts discuss and present the science behind hatchery management and integration with our fish and watershed.
