Issaquah police will be present at Issaquah High School the morning of Oct. 14, 2016, after the school's principal received an emailed bomb threat.
The threat is not believed to be credible, but the school is following security protocols and will have police present at the school.
After receiving the email, the school immediately notified the Issaquah Police Department. After communicating with the police, the decision was made to hold school as usual Oct. 14, depending on weather.
Out of an abundance of caution, Issaquah police will be patrolling campus throughout the evening. The school will also be reviewing security footage of campus activity prior to the start of school, and there will be police presence throughout the day.
