The Lake Sammamish Elks Lodge, along with the City of Issaquah Sister Cities Commission and the American Moroccan International Exchange (AMIE), will host a charity Sister Cities Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament at 6 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at the Lake Sammamish Elks Lodge, 765 Rainier Blvd. N.
Proceeds from poker tournament will be used to help bring artists here from Issaquah’s sister city, Chefchaouen, Morocco, to share their art and culture with local schools and the community during the Issaquah Salmon Days Festival.
Register at the door beginning at 5 p.m., or pre-register by contacting the Sister Cities Commission at 425-837-3000. The buy-in is $40 and donated prizes will be awarded.
