Local middle- and high-school students can help their friends resist alcohol and drug temptations by competing in the "Influence the Choice" video contest.
The fifth-annual contest invites students to create short video commercials telling their peers how to resist alcohol and drugs in a positive way.
Entrants should create video “commercials” of two minutes or less by March 10, 2017.
For high school students, cash prizes up to $1,000 are available, and more prizes than ever will be offered this year.
