A hearing examiner's decision to approve the final plat application for the Talus 7 and 8 developments was recently appealed by ORA Talus 90, LLC.
The Issaquah City Council is the decision maker on these types of appeals.
A closed record public hearing will be held during the council's next meeting, 7 p.m. Feb. 6, 2017, at Council Chambers, 135 E. Sunset Way.
A closed record public hearing means that no new or additional information may be presented. The City Council must make its decision on the appeal based upon information contained within the official record for the final plat application.
Talus 7 and 8 — located west and north of Shangri-La Way Northwest — would include 63 new single family lots, along with open space, utilities, public pedestrian access and walls.
The complete record of the final plat, including the Notice of Appeal, can be viewed from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Permit Center, City Hall Northwest, 1775 12th Ave. N.W. Please make an appointment with the senior planner, Mike Martin.
