[ARCHIVED] City Church: Demolition Proposal

Plateau Campus LLC has proposed demolishing the City Church buildings at 441 228th Avenue Southeast.

The proposal includes demolishing on-site buildings, including disconnecting electrical, gas, water and sewer, as well as preserving the stained-glass windows and donating them to the Sister of Providence.

The City of Issaquah evaluated the environmental impacts of the proposed demolition (and site stabilization), and determined it would not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. More information is available online.

There is now a 14-day comment period from March 31-April 14, 2017, followed by a 14-day appeal period.

Comments can be sent to Keith Niven, Development Services Director, at keithn@issaquahwa.gov.

Appeals, which should include specific factual objections, should be filed with the City’s Permit Center at 1775 12th Ave. N.W.
