The City is making several improvements to South Cove’s water infrastructure this spring and summer.
Starting May 24 – for up to six weeks – crews will work from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Mondays-Fridays to replace water mains along:
- West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast near Timberlake Park. Both lanes of traffic will remain open.
- 182nd Avenue Southeast from West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast to 181st Place Southeast. One lane will remain open, with crews directing traffic as needed.
In early June, crews will also start building a new station near Timberlake Park that will help the City maintain consistent water pressure. While the Timberlake Park parking lot will be closed for up to three weeks, alternative parking will be available along West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast. Crews will be working onsite from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.
