[ARCHIVED] Share Your Input: Windward/Bergsma Development

Learn more – and share your input – on the proposed Windward/Bergsma development at 6:30 p.m. June 1 during a City Council Land & Shore Committee meeting at City Hall South, 135 E. Sunset Way.

The applicant - Windward Real Estate Services – proposes clustering 78 single-family lots on 45.64 acres along Newport Way Northwest near state Route 900, which would then preserve some developable land (per current zoning). This clustering would require a development agreement with the City.

In addition, the applicant proposes building a new road from Bear Ridge Court Northwest (near Harvey Manning Park) to Newport Way Northwest, which would provide another route in and out of this new neighborhood, as well as another access point for Talus.

For more information on the proposed project, see the meeting agenda.

The City will also air the meeting live online.
