Thanks to Recreation Conservation Office grants, King County grants, donations, city funds, arts commission funds and a 2013 voter-approved park bond, we have worked to provide athletes with a better place to play year-round.
Central Park's Pad 1 project has created two multipurpose sports fields with LED lighting see the
site plan.
The project also included widening of the Central Park Lane parking area, an additional picnic shelter and landscaping to create an open edge to the field and spectator seating, as well as needed field amenities.
In addition, a walking path around the field and gathering spaces have also been added.
